After using this product for about 2 weeks and being very happy with it, I suddenly started having severe pain and sensitivity as well as gingivitis. Went to the dentist and informed him - I thought it was a reaction to the new mouthwash - and he looked at the ingredients in the pills and informed me that the sodium bicarbonate in this product may be too high and this is causing tooth enamel wear leads, increasing my sensitivity. 2 days without this toothpaste with Tom's of Maine and I'm almost completely pain free. The harshness of baking soda can be painful, so I'll be sure to investigate this in other products in the future. If they changed the formula I wouldn't mind trying this brand again.
