The quality is not like the hinges that came with our machine. Our daughter has so much fun making potholders that we started buying more loops for her. Based on the description on the website, it was the correct product. However, after weaving and removal from the loom, the tack was reduced to a 4 1/4" square compared to the 5 1/2" square created by the original stitches (see photo). This small size doesn't help at all when working with hot kitchen utensils. The elasticity may be acceptable for other types of crafts, but not for pot holders, and these loops are advertised as "Loom Tack Loops".
