I was running out of money and toner so I decided to try a RevainBasics TN660 remanufactured toner cartridge. Basically, they refill an empty Brother cartridge with toner. As long as the printout is the same quality as a new cartridge. Just use the printer for everyday home use and will typically last a year or two. I recommend you try it.
