I'm an early Teams user - I've been using it since the first Central Station, for your workflows so to speak. I recently transitioned to Unified Communications by implementing Microsoft Phone licenses for our tenant. Without a Teams-enabled UC device, you get somewhat limited functionality—mostly the equivalent of a speaker and microphone. It's clunky at best and doesn't really match the workflow of a typical phone call, such as e.g. B.: listen to the call, pick up the phone, speak, end the call, all without switching to an app. Phone sized earpiece - I prefer something wireless so I can walk around while talking - I chose this wireless headset with YeaLink Teams. Immediately after connecting, Teams recognized it as a Teams device and automatically selected it as the default device. Busy display, which is available as a separate add-on. By installing the YeaLink USB Connect app, you can view many more device options and set advanced features such as B. the automatic reply when the dock is disconnected. The app also lets you update the firmware when a new version comes out and run some diagnostics, which is essentially data collection. All in all, this is a great little device that does exactly what you want without the unnecessary features.
