I ordered this for a colleague of mine who said her low monitor was causing neck problems. When you first receive and assemble it, it looks a bit cheap and flimsy, but it's actually pretty sturdy and well built. The plastic is strong but light. The legs are made of separate parts, so you can adjust the height. The platform is solid and she put a very large (21 inch) monitor on it and there is no wiggle room. She loves that she now has some real estate on her small desk and uses the space under her stationery. Best of all, the monitor is now at a level where she no longer complains about her neck, so it's a win for both of us.
