UPDATE May 24, 2017 If you can read between the lines of a manual that's TERRIBLE, you can make it stable. Needs calibration before it will be good. Still not as stable as others who have had them ----------------------------------------- Was 5 stars when I last bought it have. Now 1 star, totally unstable out of the box. Management is terrible and confusing. Eventually I picked it up in the living room and put the transmitter away and it stayed right there in the air. I am so amazed by the stability of this drone. Pros: flight time! It lasts twice as long on one charge as my last drone. Unbelievable. Another plus point is the shape of the transmitter. Is very comfortable in the hand. The main plus is the altitude hold that makes it so stable in the air. I'm so happy. Did I already say that? Another good thing is that the manual is way better than most Chinese drones and apparently someone who speaks some English went through it. I'm not saying it's a little confusing. I think these companies should stop using engineers to write manuals. Cons: The LCD screen on the remote control is so small that you cannot read anything on it. Another downside is that the Flyer doesn't have a charging port, so you'll have to take out the battery every time you want to charge it. Finally, there is no off switch on the drone. You need to open the compartment and pull out the wires. All in all a great purchase. By the way, I paid full price for this drone. ------------- UPDATE Attempted mode 1. No sense. I went back to mode 2. I tried blade guard mode. No, it was better without him. Tried all different modes. The best way is as it comes out of the box. Simply connect the battery BEFORE turning on the transmitter. Wait for it to beep, your set. Now place both levers in the bottom outer corners to start the blades. Or go full throttle, wait for the blades to fire, then center and you're done.
