The best version of what I was looking for.

I have a fairly low platform bed which I didn't think was that short until I finally got the nightstands. After hearing nagging reviews about raised beds, I decided to take a chance. Haven't used them in a while, but so far I like what I'm seeing: * They're square instead of tapered, so there's less bruising on the toes (but let's face it, the bruising on the toes is still to an extent) *They are heavy duty and there is a thin black plastic piece that sits in a hole which I believe will help distribute the weight of the narrow bed legs (other riser reviews mention that break narrow legs). * There is a black plastic collar that attaches to the bottom of each riser to prevent sideways movement. *Price was right for a set of 8 (I have 8 bed legs). I'll post pics.) I wish they were a bit bigger, but if they were bigger they could probably make your bed rather unstable if you like falling/dipping sideways onto your bed (like my husband). We quickly put them under the bed. The easy-to-access legs were pretty simple: raise the bed, raise the riser, lower the bed. For the legs that were under the middle of the bed, my husband raised the bed a bit and I used a mop to push the riser under the leg. I will update if anything goes wrong.
