Not even very good $30

I've been using these $9 Panasonic headphones for years. I got this during a lightning sale out of curiosity, but even for the $30 price I paid for the Cloudio D Cube headphones, I still feel a little miserable. For one thing, the build quality really isn't impressive. Those $9 Panasonic headphones I mentioned usually last a year or more before I inevitably have to replace them, but after just a few weeks of owning them, they feel like they're falling apart. The connector jack is already slightly bent, the casing on the left earbud is already loose, and oddly enough, the quality gradually degrades over time. It's also a heavy pair of headphones. They kept falling out of my ears and even managed to drop the phone multiple times just to worsen the injury. I read about it in other reviews and didn't think much about it at the time, but now I realize how painful this little issue really is. The sound quality was about the same as my original pair, so I didn't even benefit from better sound. Overall, they're not even worth the discounted price I paid for them. Which is sad because I was really looking forward to having premium headphones. But now I'm wondering what exactly I paid extra for.
