Sound quality is acceptable for headphones in this price range. I mainly listen to classical music. I wouldn't say the sound is great, but it's not bad either, just average. The noise cancellation works quite well too. I have worn these headphones while flying and would say the headphones reduce aircraft noise by at least 50%. However, ANC takes some getting used to as the "silence" feels a little unnatural, but after a while I hardly notice it anymore. The ear pads are soft and comfortable. It is important to adjust the pads so that they wrap completely around the earlobes. If the pads are on some parts of the earlobes, the ears will start to hurt after a while. The pads don't breathe well. After wearing them for about 2 hours my ears get very hot and sweaty so I have to take them off. My biggest complaint is that these headphones create a lot of echo when making calls. This is due to the fact (faulty design?) that the microphone is next to the left speaker, so any sound coming out of the left speaker is picked up by the microphone and sent back down the line. As a result, the interlocutor hears his own words sent back with a delay of a few seconds, which makes it impossible to continue the conversation.
