We've only had it a week but I can tell it apart from the one I bought from Sam at the start of school which broke after 3 weeks. The outer pockets appear very well made and durable (torn on the other side). This backpack is a good size for my 6 year old and has plenty of pockets and smooth zippers. Your school folders will fit and I think your lunch set should fit too. She loves the front closure that keeps the backpack in place while she wears it. I would recommend.
