Review on DJI Mavic Air Fly More Combo Arctic 4k Electronics Drone - White (CP.PT.00000165.01) by Maurice Rivera

I was concerned that at this price point (only $60 more than a drone) it wouldn't be a true Fly More combo. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this is a complete Fly More combo with 3 batteries and all the extras. I registered with DJI and they immediately confirmed that it was an original product. I have no experience with drones and did a lot of research. The camera was a necessity for me and I was blown away by how well I was shooting on my first few flights. So many possibilities. Dodging obstacles helps me feel better. I can switch to sport mode and zoom in sharply. The active lane is a bit finicky, but it works if the shadows don't get in the way. The videos and photos were taken in cross winds up to 27 km/h, but the camera remained extremely stable. The effective flight time with batteries is approx. 16 minutes. I could stretch a few more, but I don't risk crossing the point of no return. My max range so far has only been 1.5 miles to 200 feet. I could easily go further, but the video signal gets a little choppy. I didn't play with boosted signal or WiFi channel setting. I love this drone. I'm so glad I did so much research. I've only flown the cheaper $200 drones a few times in the past, so I'm far from a proper pilot, but this thing makes me feel great to fly. More fun than I ever imagined. The only cons I can name are the ones almost everyone mentions. The micro SD card is difficult to access. It is not possible to charge the battery installed directly in the drone. I wish the battery for the controller was removable so you could charge it while using another.
