This intervalometer hasn't failed me for many time lapses in the field so it does its job well. There's no on/off button, however, and that's annoying. Whenever you have batteries, it's on. You must remember to add and remove batteries with each use. It's very annoying having to carry it around in my camera bag - I hate having loose items like AAA batteries floating around in my camera bag, even in the side pockets. What idiot came up with this remote control? The lack of an on/off switch is a major drawback.
