I thought this robe was too good to be true at $10+ cheaper than similar robes, and I was unfortunately correct. The first three days, I really loved the robe and felt like I got a fantastic deal - but the robe quickly started showing wear by day four.It started with the seam in the left sleeve cuff coming undone, followed by seams coming undone on both sides of the chest, as well as the seam on one of the tie ends. The inner satin tie also frayed at the end it was stitched into the robe and is about to sever itself. Sure, it’s currently functional, but it’s quickly falling apart and only a matter of time before the satin details start pulling away from the fabric too. At $26, I thought this would have lasted longer than a week, a week that consisted of me just gently laying around recovering from surgery.Pros are that it’s significantly cheaper than other similar robes, has a great length to it, is very soft, and the XL worked well on my 5’10” frame in both the body and arms. I also really like the charcoal grey color.Cons are that the sewing and seam work were both executed poorly and the product does not seem like it will last past a few months of consistent wear.
