When salad bowls got lost from my now ex crockery and broke so badly I only had 2 left, I worried about finding replacements that would last. I loved Sweese's small pasta bowls that can be used as everyday plates, so I decided to check out their selection of bowls. Initially I wasn't sure what size would fit so I decided to buy a 3 tier coaster with an 18oz, 28oz bowl. a bowl and a 42 ounce bowl to live with and see if they work for me and so I have something to serve at picnics and brunches. win / win! The 42oz bowls turned out to be PERFECT so I bought these 4 packs. They are fantastic, and not only for my large salads, but also for my soups. Hot soups didn't heat up the top of the jump, making moving from counter to table easy and safe. No more steamed or almost cooked fingertips! They're also great for popcorn bags. I found a full bag of popcorn, or almost so when the corn pops big. Some pieces can fall off the rim if you blindly grab a handful, so I can use larger 64-ounce bowls if that's your use case. Highly recommended!
