Review on 💡 Wireless Motion-Sensing Mini Stick-Anywhere LED Nightlights, Mr. Beams MB702 - Small, White, 2-Pack by Jennifer Whalen

I'm going to become a fan of Mr Beam. We live on our sailboat and have replaced all the lighting with LEDs. There are a couple of places where it's impractical to run cables if we want new light and we have a couple of Mr. Beam which have worked very well for us. The long battery life of Mr. Beams Designs means it doesn't take much to drill holes and spend big bucks on marine grade wire so we can install a powered lantern. I bought these little lights because we needed some light for an ice chest fridge (Angel) that we used for sodas and beer. At night we always had to carry a flashlight when looking for a soda or beer to make sure we got what we needed. It would seem convenient if we had a light that turns on and off automatically when we open a small refrigerator. It worked fine the first time we installed it, but the sensor beam was too wide and the light was always on when we opened the fridge. People walked only a few meters away from the light. So I made a small aluminum foil cap for the sensor that limits its field of view, and now the light only turns on when someone lifts the small fridge's lid and puts his or her hand in the path of the limited beam. Daylight detection still works perfectly, since the light only comes on at night. I will attach some photos showing how well it works for this application.
