9/2019 I've been struggling with this for a while. At first I really liked it, but it is quickly losing popularity. It tends to lock for 5-20 seconds at a time. It randomly recognizes a USB device that was plugged in all along and not a new one. In this case, the video will be truncated and after a few seconds when it is restored, all the windows will be on the same screen and resized. It's very random. I removed most USB devices to mitigate this. Begin my search for the best multi-monitor KVM. This applies to the HDMI dual monitor version and the display port. I was just a few steps away from packing it up and sending it back. I hooked everything up, found both systems, but the mouse lag was insane. I restarted Host 2 and when it came back no mouse or keyboard showed up. Switched to Host 1, it also didn't respond to the keyboard or mouse. (Wireless keyboard and mouse combo), unplugged the USB stick, plugged it back in, and reloaded the drivers. Now they work perfectly. I haven't messed with the network, but I don't think I will. Initially, there were many problems with display recognition, but they were all found and worked as if connected directly to any laptop. The switching speed between Host 1 and Host 2 is a bit slow, but I don't have to switch often and have a few moments while the transition is happening. I use this on a pc and a laptop, the pc seems to have a problem booting, it doesn't see the keyboard and won't boot. I am still working on it. My PC is a few years old but runs Windows 10. I was concerned it wouldn't work with dual monitors over USB, but it was pretty easy to install and only managed to fix a few issues.
