The material is soft, but not clingy.They wash well and don't shrink.These shirts complement your figure, not against it.I am 5'9" and 200lbs. and have a 44C bust, so I ordered a 2X.Update on this tunic.The only complaint I have with these tunics is after it has been washed several times, the material starts to ball up in tiny cotton balls. The shirt remains soft and hasn't shrunk, but the material starts to slowly cheapen in looks.Be very careful when you order these tunics from this company, as I thought they were all made the same because the shirts were all sold together, but in different colors, but now I know to ALWAYS look what the shirts are made of.
