I'm not a recording professional who records sound professionally. I'm trying to convince my son to start recording videos for his YouTube channel and I'm going to edit them for him because he said he needs a channel (can't make videos without footage! Can't make videos without sound!). , finally I have this thing and I really needed what I have now bought but got them and a Behringer Q1202USB 12 channel mixer and adjusted the levels afterwards. I've been using OBS and testing a lot and making fake videos to check all the buttons and all that crap because man I don't even know what this board does! I can tell you that this setup or maybe this mic seems to be a lot of fun. That thing has a nice swingarm. I used a clamp from different things. The edge of the table top, the table (inside the drawer ledge) is pressed straight against the bookshelf (less vibration at the microphone if it is not on the same surface as the keyboard). I used my laptop's mic and everything seems to be fine. Always latency issues, never mic issues. I've even had a few people say that I sound loud like my mic is loud because nobody else is talking about it. So this microphone, complemented with a good circuit board, can do a lot. Good volume affects everything. What if the video is great and people are hooked and suddenly you hear a roar? Takes you aside so a good mic helps, and personally? I think this is a great microphone.
