This cable destroyed my headphone jack on my Mac. My computer worked fine with the included Apple headphones. I wanted a longer cable. I connected, it doesn't work. When I wanted to use the headphones alone again, they stopped working. The connector on the cable I bought was pushing the prongs in my I Mac apart so that it no longer made contact with the headphones made for it. Headphones have been working flawlessly for over a year. They will not open an Apple computer for 2800.00 to fix the problem. You must send it back to Apple for repair. As an audio engineer with 30 years of experience, I know exactly what happened. It's a five-minute fix for everything else. Opening this apple yourself will void your warranty. This is a real problem. I have to send it back to Apple now and hope it's still under warranty or it's going to cost me a few hundred for sure. A $6 cable can cost me a lot of money due to poor input connector size specs on the cable. Luckily I can use my bluetooth on it. You asked for feedback, you got it.
