I did a hair test on my arms according to the instructions. It worked. My black hair on my arms turned light brown. No burning and no irritation. There is no dark shadow. So I started with my face. I followed the same directions, mixed 1 part powder with 3 parts cream, applied to the "mustache area" and set the timer. It tingled a bit, but I didn't pay much attention to that because other reviews said they had it too. However when I removed the mixture after the timer I saw that the product lightened my dark facial hair to light brown as did the hair on my arms BUT it left a dark shadow where the product was applied. Looks terrible! Maybe the skin on my face is just sensitive, but I will NEVER use this product again. To get rid of that "shadow" I did a few facial cleanses in the mustache area and now that shadow has lightened up. I will have to use turmeric masks and sweet almond oil to get rid of it completely. Hope it works!
