When I received my plastic frame glasses I was very excited that I now had to deal with adjustable nose pads but after a few weeks of wearing glasses I realized I had made a mistake. I'm a nursing student and need glasses to not bother me during the day so thought I'd give them a try. They remove the lenses from my eyes so my lashes don't touch the lenses and smudge (I'm male and this has nothing to do with makeup). These nose pads also seem to take the pressure off my ears. You'll need to replace the pads every few weeks, but that's fine if you want the perfect fit. Make sure to wipe the nose with alcohol before attaching the pads to allow the glue to stick; so the pads last longer.
