I've just received a new Pixel ring flash to test. So far I like it very much! It comes with a stand that is fairly compact but not as tall as my other stands. It came with a remote control so I could take a picture of myself but I don't see how to get it to record the video I need for podcasting. It comes with a second remote control that can control light output and color balance. That's very impressive! It can control groups of ring lights if you need to expand them in the future. What I don't like about ring lights in general is that they create those little ring lights in your eyes. I would prefer a round circle or a window-like square of light. On the other hand, it's a pretty easy way to get even lighting for podcasts or other types of work.
