The device I ordered DOES NOT HAVE REPLACEABLE BATTERIES - instead it comes with a USB cable and a built in rechargeable battery. OxyLED T-02U USB Rechargeable 20 Bright LED Night Light Wand Anywhere Light Bar with Motion Detection There seems to be some confusion among reviewers who have purchased a similar product that runs on removable batteries. It's not like this! A year ago I had older models that used batteries - they are no match for them. These lights are awesome and very handy to just charge them from my laptop's USB port with the cable that comes with these lights. Love the fact that they easily attach to a strong magnetic bar that's attached to the wall/stairs or whatever. The actual light strip is then attached directly to the magnetic strip. I can remove the lights from the band to charge them or if I want to toggle the switch from/to off, auto or on. One strip illuminates my entire small bathroom. These are currently the best lamps. Now my son wants to buy some of these for dark storage and other places in his house. You will not regret the purchase! You'll probably want more later.
