My dad is 88 and had a blood clot and his ankle was very swollen. He couldn't have the prescription thinners commonly prescribed for other problems. They had to treat him with aspirin and compression, but wrapping his leg in a bandage and getting the right compression was too difficult for him. . Nothing was prescribed to him. I don't live nearby and only knew the measurements on his non-swollen leg. I bought this because I knew it would fit tighter; hoping he can wear it.
