We ordered these spikes a week ago and tested them today. We went to Scout's Lookout in Zion. When we got to Walt's Swings (a series of turns) we realized they were solid slabs of ice. People fell right and left, and I'm not kidding when I say it was a dangerous situation. A very tall man hit the ground hard and slid, nearly taking my daughter with him. We put on our ice boots and rode up the Wiggles with ease. The spikes perform well and ensure a safe ascent to Scout's Lookout. The descent was also easy. They were easy to put on.
