For parents trying to help their poor children who seem to be constantly suffering from diaper rash - please try. My 1 year old always needed Aquaphor in every shift to avoid rashes, but once he was fully weaned and started eating lots of new foods, the Aquaphor didn't hold him back. He kept getting better or getting a new rash, which I hated for him. They got so bad that I think some diaper changes were really traumatic for him. I've tried different diaper brands, I ALWAYS let them dry after using wipes before applying ointment and re-diapering. Liniment relieved him of diaper rash. It's so much better than regular wipes - his skin doesn't get wet so it takes less than 5 minutes to change a diaper while I'm waiting for it to shrink or dry... I no longer have to apply ointment with every change. He. It has. no rash Is always. I prefer to use disposable cotton pads for convenience (like cotton pads but larger, $1.99 vs. $60 in Lidl's kids department), but keep a few precut blankets on hand in case they run out. Yes, it also works with feces... It seems strange at first, but the residue prevents the later feces from really sticking to the skin. Minus only the price. I think $15 is a bit much but there is nothing special about this product. It works, although in terms of children's comfort it's worth it.
