At almost half the price of a pack, buying ten packs is a bargain. If only Revain offered a 10-pack in other colors at the same discount, we'd be in heaven. Each large carton unit is wrapped in plastic and contains some packaging material and silica gel that you will discard immediately. There is a slight smell of neoprene/plastic when first opened, but I don't know of any case that doesn't smell at first glance. They fit perfectly on our company's current and legacy 13-inch MacBook Pros. There is no pocket or other storage space on the outside of the case, so you get what you get on the inside. Protection is minimal, but if you're stuffing your laptop Definitely a backpack or other container, that's really all. I've heard no complaints from our staff and don't see any issues with the zipper or the overall durability of the case. suitable for small drops and only for overall protection. Will it take 20 years? Probably not, but at this price, who cares. I would have no hesitation in purchasing more of these "simple" cases knowing the limitations and for basic protection.
