Good idea, bad design. In the street? Forget it!

UPDATE: One is completely unusable as we lost some figures in the park. I had other parties I wanted to use them for so I used E6000 glue. I left them untouched for several days. It worked. We used it outdoors but as you can see from the pictures the wind was blocked by the fence, gate and house. Only 2 hinges failed: one after falling to the ground near the open backyard due to light wind, the other after my 2 year old pulled on it. I placed the base between two loading plates. I'm not giving this 5 stars because of the hassle of getting the glue, it evaporates and leaves it for a few days. But the most important thing is that it is difficult to disassemble and transport! They are pre-built and bulky. I have no idea where I'm going to keep them. OLD: I bought this with 4 parties in a row. Now I have to come up with other ideas for the middle part, because even if I superglue them together, we'll lose too much detail. Waste of money to buy 3,100 packs of balloons to use with these coasters. I read all the bad reviews. I thought I might be better off leaving them alone. I made donut shaped weights but that didn't solve the vertical problem. The glue dots didn't help. They made the straws flexible (attached to the base with glue, but sticking out). I used glue dots because without them the straws literally just fall off. This is design! Wells are too short. Make them 2 inches tall with the thread. The straws are too thin. They should be as thick as average. I think you can save on shipping if you cut the straws in half, but that would weaken the structure. 2 balls flew away with the top straw. Either make it one long piece or make long straws with threads in the middle. Are you trying to use it outdoors? Forget it. We lost so many parts to the wind.
