Review on Boppy Changing Cover Pink Love by Lisa Becker

I ordered this to use as a tool case for my toaster as cases are hard to find. For what I need it works very well. However, I have some comments on the intended use as a replacement pad. First, it's surprisingly soft. The child will feel very comfortable on it, and parents don't have to worry about scratching sensitive skin. I didn't read the description fully and was surprised that it was an elastic style rather than a cover style. It's actually better for my purposes, but babies are generally not passive when changing diapers or getting dressed. They squirm, squirm, squirm, twist, slide, twist and turn diaper changing into serious exercise for the person caring for them. It's hard for me to imagine that the cover doesn't come loose when you change diapers. I'm also concerned about the fact that a good dirty diaper will likely make so much mess that the pad will need to be removed and washed afterwards. In fact, I found it much more convenient for kids and grandkids not to use a cover, just having cloths handy to wash the pad after each shift. It is much more hygienic than a fabric cover, in which germs can easily multiply. Since it works quite well as a device case and I can only speculate about using it as a replacement pad, I give it 4 stars. He does what I need.
