Review on πŸͺ‘ Grey Padded Office Desk Chair with Adjustable Height Active Learning Stool - Rocking, Wobble, and Tilting Motion by Mia Parks

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Not necessarily the best option for a standing desk And difficult to disassemble unless properly assembled

I have a Vari-Desk desktop and after wiggling it up and down for a year, I got bored standing and finally decided to invest in an adjustable stool when sitting. I read (and re-read) the reviews and decided to buy the Learniture Height Adjustable Active Learning Stool as I didn't want to pay nearly double for a Vari-Desk stool. I have mixed feelings about the stool - hence the three stars. Cons: * The stool comes without assembly instructions. I had to find out, and I got it wrong at first. Trying to take the chair apart (putting it back together properly) was a beast. Yes, disassembling is just as easy as assembling *BUT* there is a little trick to it. I had to extend the stool to its full height and then pull on the seat with even pressure, pressing my feet into the base. The seat eventually popped out after some effort. After that I was able to assemble it properly*. A good piece of plastic broke off during shipping. Nothing Gorilla Glue wouldn't fix, but annoying nonetheless. :/* It doesn't stretch as high as we'd like. I cannot raise the Vari-Desk as high as I would like because the stool is too short. Note: I'm 5ft 5in so anyone taller than me will probably look elsewhere before purchasing this stool. Pros: * The seat is comfortable enough not to stand. * Gray color goes well with my office. Decor* It raises and lowers easily. If you lift it when you sit on it and press the buttons under the seat, it lowers with no problem.* The price somewhat negates all the disadvantages listed above. Knowing what I know now, I would spend the extra money and buy a Vari-Desk stool. That being said, returning this item is too difficult, so I'll stick with it. Thought I'd share my experience with others so you don't have to learn the same things I just learned - the hard way - despite reading (and re-reading) the reviews. Hope I could help!

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Bad experience
