Risk of breakage and fire due to careless workmanship

I could write professionals, but they speak for themselves and only waste our time. Closure, but that's the kind that uses glue (not sewn) and it's only present along the bottom of the heating pad, meaning the heat from the heating pad softens the glue over and over again, causing it to come loose, and every time When you pull your hands out of the gloves, the top (without the closure) is pulled together and bent. This caused the heater to shift and move, and folding caused the heating elements within to break. One side is completely broken and the other is sparking in the fabric which hasn't caused a fire so far but I have no doubt it could very well melt the fabric, burn my hand or cause worse if I continue to use it if without If supervision is left on, a fire can break out in the house. Some changes are needed to improve this device. Sewn-in hooks and loops at the top and bottom of each side of the heating pad. Problem solved. But the lesson was learned too little and too late. There don't seem to be any well-made fingerless glove warmers on the market. Not to mention that they shouldn't come with gloves. There is nothing special about this aspect of the purchase. I find that single fingers interfere with mouse operation and typing. True fingerless gloves (with thumbs but no fingers) would prove to be a superior design for computer work. With a battery they might be decent for winter trips but until the dangerous and easily avoidable downsides are addressed I wouldn't recommend buying these gloves.

Pros
  • High-quality workmanship
Cons
  • Requires base
