After switching from a View Sonic TN panel to a Benq IPS panel, the difference was huge. The main problem I had with the View Sonic was that despite the faster panel, the configuration was too complex, especially on gamma and blacks. I also had to constantly switch the game to cinema mode when watching anime/movies on PC. The Benq is much easier to set up and there is no need to switch modes, not to mention the IPS has better color gamut than previous gaming monitors I've used. AMD Freesynch II had a huge impact on big open-world games and tearing is virtually non-existent in any game I've played on this monitor, despite still using my old AMD Radeon 5700XT.
