We used them for our outdoor wedding. I also dip coated the buttons to give them a swirly look to complement our whimsical theme and put some of our initials on them. They are great for an outdoor party as they are wooden disposable cutlery and look much better than plastic cutlery. We didn't serve soup, ice cream, or anything else that specifically requires a spoon, so I found them perfect as extra utensils at our event. We use additives at home and you get a woody taste. Overall, I'd only recommend it for an outdoor party or picnic if your cutlery standards are lower.
