The cloth makes a slight scratching noise when it is moved. Since it has to be HIDDEN, the sound is absolutely incomparable. Unfortunately, I didn't notice that this isn't Revane Prime with free returns. I was fooled by their recommendations. I'm sending it back and bought a more comfortable Eagle Creek shock. This may be fine for a man, but I will be in a very hot climate on my journey and will be wearing light, lightweight clothing. It is definitely functional and true to size.
