I've never had laser hair removal before but this seemed interesting and a good price with a $20 discount coupon and hey during a pandemic try something at home you normally can . t, right. ? (An independent experiment: egg washed hair totally worked, btw.) Item arrived exactly as described, flip-up glasses included. It's easy to use, although it took me a while to figure out how to switch it to automatic, but the Q&A here helped me (hold the big button for a few seconds). I have fair skin and medium brown hair, for the record. . I started at level 1 because I didn't know what to expect and didn't feel anything. I used it 3 times every other day and got to level 3 which definitely feels warm/hot but only for a second. I only use it on one leg so I can compare. So far I don't see the difference but the instructions say to give 4 weeks. I have no idea what people are saying about using it once and not seeing hair growth for a week. No, there is definitely stubble, as always. So let's see! I'll try to update in a few weeks. Hope this will be helpful! Update 8/1: I think I'm seeing a little less consistent growth, but it's still hard to tell. The device seems to heat up faster regardless of the setting. The thought of using it in a more sensitive place makes me nervous. I just did a level 3 leg and got a burn on my knee - guess the curve of my knee touched the glass more? So be careful! Update #2: After a month of using every other day I compared the leg with the laser and the leg without the laser and couldn't see much of a difference. Maybe it takes longer, maybe it's my technique, but unfortunately I've decided to return the product.
