Review on ๐Ÿช’ Dorco Pace 4 Pro - 4-Blade Razor Shaving System - 10 Cartridges + 1 Handle by Jody Yarrish

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Dorco Pace 4 is now my absolute favorite razor.

I have been using pace 4 razors for 2 years when i decided to try pace 3. I shaved half my face on pace 4 and half on pace 3 for several days (always the same half gets the same razor every day). I then installed the new blades and did the same test but reversed the sides. In both tests, the Pace 4 consistently smoothed my face straight after shaving. Sometimes I don't shave for days. Tempo 4 can clog if I don't rinse it after each pass (I should note that Tempo 4 very, very rarely clogs if I have little to no beard if I rinse it between each pass). I wondered if the Pace 3, with fewer blades and more blade spacing, would be good for longer periods between shaves. I figured it might be easier to clean, or at least less clogging. I haven't bothered to check how it clogs or how it cleans itself when clogged. The shave itself was worse enough compared to the Pace 4 so I don't care. I used Pace 6 blades a long time ago, I didn't do a comparison test. I remember that they were extremely difficult to clean, which is why I stopped using them so early. So I'm sure I'll choose Pace 4 as my razor for life. It delivers a closer shave than other branded razors I've used. They are significantly cheaper. They last a long time (I bought 16 Pace 4 cartridges in June 2017 and left two in November 2019). I don't shave every day, although I shave in 2017, I've been shaving 3-4 times a week lately. And sometimes in the winter I just grow a beard. So your mileage will vary.
