Review on 📸 Samsung NX2000 20.3MP CMOS Smart WiFi Mirrorless Digital Camera with 20-50mm Lens, 3.7" Touch Screen LCD - Black (OLD MODEL) by Matthew Hall

I bought this camera for my wife for our 5th birthday and I am very happy with my purchase. First, the camera is packaged very nicely. It comes in a beautiful black box with an envelope with a picture of the product and other information. After opening the box, everything is very neat and tidy. The camera body seems to be very robust. Some other reviews knocked it off for being just plastic instead of metal and/or rubber. I think the camera is very well made. The plastic has a nice texture on the handle and a rough finish throughout the chamber. It doesn't feel or look cheap or shiny. The lens is easy to put on and take off and feels very secure when you put it on. In general, I have no complaints about the build quality of this camera. This camera has two features that may put some people off, but were positives for me: it accepts micro SD cards instead of full-size cards, and it doesn't come with a battery case, it charges via micro USB. Now, I already had a 64GB micro SD card that was unused, while my largest standard SD card is only 8GB, so I was fine with a camera that accepts micro SD. I also lose my camera chargers all the time, so charging my camera using the micro USB port I have around the house and in all my cars is a HUGE plus for me. Finally, this camera has a micro HDMI output so you can connect it to your TV. The camera software is fantastic. I was able to get my hands on the camera after about 30 minutes of use, and this is my first non-point-and-shoot camera. The interface is very intuitive and beginner-friendly, but has all the advanced settings and options that prosumers need. The ability to use your smartphone as a remote shutter release and viewfinder is great and saves you the hassle and expense of buying a remote shutter release. I also like that the camera can automatically send pictures to your smartphone for easy sharing on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. The camera also automatically backs up your images to your computer wirelessly using the supplied software installed on your computer. The picture quality is surprisingly good. Of course I've only used it in very good light so far, but the photos have exceeded my high expectations for a camera. The difference in quality between this camera and our previous camera (which was only $100 less) is amazing. The main subject is sharp and the background has a nice blur. The colors are rich and vibrant. All in all very nice photos. As I use the camera more, I'll update my review if my mind changes or if there are other important considerations I come across.
