This is an adorable set. We were looking for something that resembled a French press so our little one can make coffee like mommy. This was the closest we found.The good:My children love this. It was exactly what my youngest was hoping for and all the rest love it too. Lots of pastries, more then will fit on the caddy. Chooses between having coffee "for here or to go” a grinder for coffee. The frosting on the two bigger donuts can be swapped. The designer coffee can be swapped between cups. Again: my kids adore this. They had so much fun with it.The cons: I didn’t expect the to-go cups to be cardboard. This makes them look and feel real, but I also know these particular cups wont last the week in my house. My littlest guy already put teeth marks into one while pretending to drink from it after one use. Make it hard to sanitize too. I was expecting them to be plastic like the rest of the set. I’m really mixed about this as they are so very adorable. For families that can have cardboard toys, this will be great.The "coffee” inserts for the cups are also cardboard. Same mixed feelings. But my kids will love them until they are worn out.The plastic on some of the pieces is a bit weak and I don’t know if the caddy will last long. The coffee maker handle feels similar. The grinder handle also feels like it might snap if used vigorously. However the plastic food feels like it will be fine for a while.Overall, it’s an adorable toy and is going to get a lot of use. Loved the little bakery sign with prices on it too. And the Jamaican coffee brand made me smile.
