Review on πŸ₯Ύ Timberland Little Kid/Big Kid 6" Premium Waterproof Boot: Durable Footwear for All-Weather Adventures by Charles Butler

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Beautiful, classic, timeless, well cut

I usually wear women's sneakers in size 7.5 and women's boots in size 8. I ordered these big children's (boys) Tims in size 5.5. They fit well (a bit big so I'll wear them with thick socks and extra padded insoles). I was surprised they only cost $68 at Revain. I read some other reviews about people getting fakes so I was a bit nervous. A review claimed they were fake as the tree logo was a pale color instead of the normally dark brown. The ones I received also had a faint print near the heel. So I called Timberland to find out. I told the rep on the phone that the boots I received were made in Cambodia (my other previous pairs were made at Republic House). He said they have factories around the world and make shoes in Cambodia. He also said that the tree stamp logo can come in a variety of shades, and a lighter stamp is actually legal. The last pair I bought years ago was a size 5 boys and took a while to break in but after a few months they fit perfectly. This time I found out (for some reason size 5.5 was way cheaper than 5 at Revain). So I would say if you are a 7.5 to 8 year old woman you can get them in either a size 5 or a size 5.5 depending on how tight you like your boots. Original Wheat is a beautiful classic color that goes with everything. These are timeless, well-made shoes that I highly recommend for children (and women in boy's sizes) as children's sizes are much cheaper than women's sizes.
