If it was only advertised as a facial cleanser, that would do. It seems to wash well and washes off easily. However, it is advertised as a scrub buffered with bamboo. This product does NOT exfoliate. I don't know what bamboo buffers are, but they don't delaminate. I read about the benefits of a scrub for mature skin and bought it for that purpose. It goes on smoothly, without chipping. Returning items for a refund is a hassle so I didn't do it. If you want to buy something that cleans and exfoliates, buy another product.
