I don't know if my older cats didn't like this food or if it got spoiled on the way after sitting in a hot truck all day. It was a 30 degree day and when I got the food it was hot. I opened the bag and the food was hot to the touch even though it was meant to be kept cool and dry. I later offered it to my cats to mix with their regular dry food and they became nauseous. I had to go to the store to buy a different type of purina kibble because they kept throwing up and are much better now. I no longer think it's a good idea to go grocery shopping in the summer when it's hot, unless it can be in an air-conditioned truck, which I doubt.
