This is the simplest and quietest humidifier I have ever used. I bought it to take with me on a trip and for that purpose it's great. I use it at home every day too! This thing releases a fair amount of fog! However, be careful where you install it as long as there isn't a draft or wind blowing the moisture away. The biggest pro? I can put it in any glass, cup, vase or container. I also like the on/off button in the "lid". The main drawback? The length of the cord affects how far it can be from the plug, but that's what extension cords are for.
