Revainrating 5 out of 5

High quality! - Personal care

As someone who has bamboo headbands and socks, I can say that the outside is definitely bamboo. While most things don't actually touch your skin, I just love the feel. The group is also made of bamboo, which is very cute. Now I only have bamboo bandages because every previous bandage gave me a headache within an hour or less. Bamboo is known for being form fitting but not tight. Socks are typically sold to people who are sensitive to sock bulges but do not slip. I'm only 5-4 years old with a medium to small head and this headband fits snug without being uncomfortable. For people commenting that it's too tight, that's how it should be. Bamboo is also known to weaken with repeated stretching. Washing the headbands will bring them back into shape, but you can't do that with a beanie. Since I wear an eye mask at night, if the lid comes off, my mask keeps it in place. I'm not the kind of person who can afford silk, but a friend gave me a used silk dress. I can confirm the authenticity of the silk claim. While I know it's silk, the fact that the company included a test sample so everyone can be sure is amazing! I saw a complaint about the price. A silk/bamboo hat will never cost $6.99. If so I wouldn't buy it because it would clearly be polyester and not silk. For reference, SILKE, a very well-known company based in London, makes 100% silk hats and charges $62.91 for them. Even though this cap has bamboo on the outside, my headbands are $14.95. The price of $25 is more than reasonable for the materials used. I still use either a sleep mask or a headband to keep it in place. Since the headband is also made of bamboo and is very breathable, I didn't have any problems with overheating. I am very sensitive to heat, especially the July-August heat. I woke up hot from the covers but with this hat and headband my head was cool. While it is understandable that without my additions the cap would slip off, I still prefer it. The only other option is a hat with a sewn-in elastic band. The size of the elastic isn't easy, it's usually too tight and giving me the headaches I'm afraid, and the only way to loosen it is to rip the seams as well. The second problem is that the elastic material is NOT breathable. Even a small strip of it would make my forehead sweat. Because the material around the bracelet has to be contracted in order for it to stretch, it can also be constantly itchy. My final comment concerns the price rating. I realized that the person who thought it was 6.99 was looking at the price for 2 silk scrunchies. They appear to be about the same size as the major Slipsilk brand sold by Sephora. As they cost 39.00 for only 3 I would say the price this company is charging for both products is fantastic! They even give you a discount if you buy a set.
