I have used this double harness in the back seat of my two dogs on two separate occasions. Worked very well the first time. The 2nd time I had some concerns. I have used it with my 20 lb dog and 13 lb dog. My little dog ended up confused. It kind of wrapped around her. Luckily I looked back during the drive and saw what had happened. I was able to stop to unravel it. Another issue is that when both of my dogs are buckled in the double harness and they move around too much while buckled, my back seat pulls forward. I have a car with rear trunk access. This also applies to me. I think belting two dogs in at the same time is a great idea, but I think I'll consider using a seat belt for each of them on opposite sides of the back seat.
