Exactly what I needed and in two of my favorite colors - turquoise and orange. It's small, like a kid's backpack, but fits me, and I'm 5'8" and 155 pounds. A water bottle fits horizontally and I can fit 7 to 10 bottles in there. The zippered compartment fits restaurants. or sandwiches. It is perfect for day hikes and doesn't take up too much room on my back or make me hot.The price was amazing.I'm adding this because we just got home from 7 days of hiking death valley and I LOVED this backpack. So light I didn't even know I had a backpack on, never worked up a sweat, plenty of room for bottles of water and snacks in the zippered side pocket.
