I'm 6ft 4" and this is a great tripod for someone my size. With the legs fully extended and the center column fully collapsed, combined with the included ball mount, it puts my camera at about my ideal eye level, maybe a little higher. As you can see from the photos, it's way over my head with the center columns raised to the maximum. The tripod is quite stable and medium-sized. difficult. But it's probably sturdier than any other height tripod as I can only rely on stretching my legs and keeping the center posts down. The legs have 3 extensions and 3 fold out positions just in case. You are on uneven ground or need extra stability. One complaint I have is the included ball head mount. Normal range ball head. So if you need to adjust the camera while using the U-Nut, you will have to awkwardly grip with your left hand or grip entirely with your left hand as you will have to use your right hand. to keep the camera steady while you adjust the locking mechanism. Another option is to hold the camera with your left hand, but in this case you have to hold the camera by the lens or awkwardly on your body. Another thing I don't like is that if you want to fold the B-pillar down to bring the camera closer to the ground, you have to remove the hook at the bottom of the B-pillar. I haven't used enough tripods to know if the quick release is any good or not. Sometimes it is difficult to put it back in place, but this may be operator error. Overall I am very happy with this tripod and would recommend it to anyone who is tall or wants a very tall tripod for a specific purpose.
