I bought this teether for a 10 week old Australian puppy well before she started teething and she showed no interest in it. Now that her teeth were fully erupted, she liked it. She would take it to bed and chew it until she fell asleep, which was a great distraction since I work from home. It really seemed to help her gums and she chewed on it for hours. It's a soft rubber heart with little jelly-like prongs for teeth and gums. She used it for several weeks until she got over the hard chewing phase. It's a great soft chew toy, but it hasn't survived a single night of abuse. We had to throw it away and I think she misses him, so maybe we'll try again and see if she can be more careful with him like before.
