BEFORE YOU USE THEM, MAKE SURE you chop them up according to the instructions and remove the labels! This is important because they don't feel fluffy right out of the box. Once dry, their fluff almost doubles in size and yes, they are super absorbent! I dried my Civic by simply squeezing the water out of the whole part maybe twice! To collect a lot of water you need to fall and rise, not fall and pull. Once you've done that, compress everything and then follow your normal drying routine.
