TL;DR: This is great! I'm 5'5" with a 34D bust, 27" waist, 36" hips and bought the medium. I got it in blue which isn't very light but not muted either. I bought the M because I have a 34D chest and I'm very glad I would have.If I had bought something smaller it wouldn't have worked.Size.The waist is big on me but I didn't care Put an obi- Belt on (bought from Express) the lower front of the dress as the buttons don't go all the way allowing about 6" to open. It doesn't matter but if you're tall it might show more than you think. I wore it to work yesterday and got so many compliments from both men and women.
