Dust covers come with a sticker/sheet. The way they protected this film from dust is terrible. The part that goes into the "elbow" of the Airpods case is in the middle of the film. Using scissors, cut the foil in the middle between the two dust caps. Approach the edge of the dust cover so you can easily align the cover with the airfields. I did this with the bottom dust cover after struggling with the top one. What was a problem with the top dust cover was simplified with the bottom one as I cut the film to stick the dust cover directly onto airfields without messing with the 'guide sticker' provided. Much luck!
